Section II. PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE CHECKS AND SERVICES (PMCS) 2-3.  General. To be sure that equipment is always ready for your mission, you must perform the  scheduled preventive maintenance checks, and services (PMCS). Figure 2-10 illustrates the major components[ of the ARABS. 2-4..  Explanation of Operator's PMCS Table Columns-Your preventive maintenance checks and services table  2-1) is divided into five columns. Each column is described in the following paragraphs. a. The "Item No." column of your PMCS table indicates the sequence in which the inspections should be performed. b. The "Interval" column of your PMCS table tells you when to do a check or service. (1) Before Operation.  Perform your Before PMCS to be sure your ARABS equipment is ready for use. Always keep in mind the CAUTIONS and WARNINGS that appear in the manual. (2) After Operation.  Perform your After PMCS after each operation. This should help you keep your ARABS equipment in top operating condition. 2-26
