Using a marking aid, mark the cord 2 1/2-inches from each end.

Position cord in original vent line location and aline the 2 1/2-inch marks with upper edge of vent
reinforcement (upper lateral band).

Using details in figure 2-43, secure each end of vent line to the vent line reinforcement (upper lateral
band) and applicable radial tape, with 1/8-inch wide double-throw zig-zag stitching. Stitch in accordance
with the specifications in table 2-3.
