(6) Side securing straps. Replace a damaged side securing strap (1) with a 30-inch length of webbing as
follows:
(a) Cut stitching, and remove damaged strap.
(b) Cut Type VIII nylon replacement webbing to dimensions shown and sear ends. Sew according to
details shown. Use size 3 thread, 5 to 8 stiches per inch and a type HD sewing machine.
(c) Fold end under 1/2 inch, position webbing on container as in original construction and sew according
to details shown. Sew as above.
