Replace
(1)
Remove original removable keeper by disconnecting the connector link and sliding it through
support loops.
(2)
Cut a 28 1/2-inch length of type X nylon webbing and sear ends (para 2-18).
(3)
Wrap webbing around connector link forming a 3 ply keeper strap. Stitch webbing plies
together with a 3 point WW-stitch formation forming a 1 1/4 inch loop at each end. Overstitch
webbing ends one stitch as shown In figure 2-59.

Slip keeper through support loops and secure with connector link.
