Repair.
Restitch. Stitch and restitch with size 5 nylon thread of contrasting color, when possible. Lock all straight
stitching by backstitching at least 1/2 Inch. Restitch directly over the original stitch, following the original
pattern as closely as possible (figure 2-43).
