(f) Replacing Hardware.
(1) Snap fastener (1). Replace a damaged snap fastener with a serviceable like item from stock. Install
fastener in accordance with procedures described in paragraph 2-13.
(2) Other hardware item. Replace other damaged items of hardware on the weapons case with serviceable like
items from stock. Do not attempt to straighten bent hardware or otherwise repair cracked or broken hardware. When it is
necessary to cut any stitching to remove damaged hardware from webbing, replace hardware and webbing following
procedures in the appropriate section of d., above. Do not restitch the webbing.
