LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION OF MAJOR COMPONENTS (MODEL 452)
The test chamber basically consists of an air compressor, vacuum pump, altitude chamber with
switch lever, lid and air cylinder, and a control assembly. All components are attached to a
mounting base and are contained in a carrying case which also serves as the storage container.
The control assembly consists of a pressure (PSI) gage, ALTITUDE CONTROL (vacuum)
regulator, CLIMB/FALL/COCK switch, RAPID FALL dump switch, PRESSURE CONTROL
regulator, indicator light, ON/OFF switch, fuse, and an altimeter (ALT) on the control housing.
Inside the control housing are a power supply for the altimeter vibrator, a dump solenoid valve,
climb solenoid valve, air cylinder solenoid valve and all required plumbing and wiring.
