b. Replace. A standard 15-foot static line assembly that is damaged beyond repair must be replaced
as follows:
(1)
Remove the damaged static line from the deployment bag.
(2)
Position the deployment bag, with the stow loop facing up, and pass the buffer end of the
new line clockwise through the deployment bag reinforcement loop. Make sure the
deployment bag reinforcement loop fold, and the folded edge of the static line, are facing
inward.
