d. Cut two (2) 7" pieces of Web, Nylon, Type IV, 1" wide and sear ends.
e. Mark the webbing 1/2" and 11/16" in from each end, then 1-7/8' in from the 11/16" marks. The 1/2" marks are for
fold-unders and the 1-7/8" marks are for locating the middle two rows of stitching (figure 5)

f. Form a 1/2" fold-under with one end of the webbing. Align the folded-under end of webbing with the end of the
line on pack tray so that the webbing is 3/16" outside of the line drawn On the pack tray to designate stitch location.
Stitch the folded-under end of the webbing in place with three (3) straight rows. To form the first two stow loops, keep the
edge of the web aligned with the line on the pack tray, match the two (2) stitch marks on the webbing with those on the
pack tray and stitch each in place with three (3) straight rows. To form the third stow loop, form a 1/2" fold-under with the
loose end of the web, align the fold-under with the end of the line drawn of the pack tray and stitch in place with three (3)
straight rows.
