NOTE
If parachute is being packed for the first time, conduct a 7-pound
and a 27-pound pull test IAW WP 0004 00.
1. Compress the ejector spring ensuring that netting material is tucked in between the coils and insert
the compression rods. Set aside.
2. Elongate the pilot chute bridle and pilot chute on the pack table and remove all turns and twist.
NOTE
Care should be exercised when working with the bridle and pilot
chute to prevent accidental puling of the curved pins from the
locking loops.
3. Pass the bridle line under the right corner (rigger view) of the bridle deployment pouch. Half twist the
line in the bottom center of the pouch. Beginning at the left edge of the pouch, accordion-fold the
bridle line to the first black mark. Stow the folded bridle into the bridle deployment pouch. The folds
should be the same width as the pouch.
4. At the black mark, pull 5-inches of deployment line out of the pouch. Fold the bridle line over the
deployment pouch with the black line centered and even with the curved pins. Place the remaining
line away from the packer on the table.
