(3) Other items of hardware. Replace other damaged items of hardware on the harness with serviceable
like items from stock. Do not attempt to straighten bent hardware or otherwise repair cracked or broken hardware. When
it is necessary to cut any stitching to remove damaged hardware form webbing, replace hardware and webbing following
procedures in the appropriate section of subparagraph d. above. Do not restitch the webbing.
