General Safety Requirements:
Read, understand and follow all warnings, cautions and notes.
Equipment Condition:
The Release Assembly should be clean and dry. Place the assembly on a work table.
INSPECT
Perform a before and after repair rigger/technical inspection of the Release Assembly as outlined in paragraph 2-14.
REPAIR
The webbing on the release assembly may be restitched or darned. Splicing is not authorized. Restitch loose, broken, or
defective stitching according to original construction details using size FF thread, 7 to 9 stitches per inch and a type MD
sewing machine. Darn using size E thread and a type DN machine.
